Is Spacruzzi compliant with all regulatory agencies?
Yes. Spacruzzi complies with all US Coast Guard regulations to safely operate. We have a Coast Guard-compliant propane-heating solution for use while the boat is underway. Spacruzzi has also been approved to operate in some of the cleanest and most heavily regulated lakes in the United States.
How does it heat up and stay hot?
Our propane heater keeps Spacruzzi at the perfect temperature throughout the ride and accelerates start-up heating. Our patent-pending internal heating, circulation and filtration system heats Spacruzzi at start-up and maintains heat between rides.
Unlike wood-burning hot tub boats, Spacruzzi's heater allows for perfectly regulated temperature.
How long does the electric motor battery last?
Spacruzzi has designed the propulsion system battery capacity to accommodate up to 16 hours before having to charge. There's a lithium battery bank that you can have up to four batteries and a separate fast-charging system at the dock will replenish all of the charge necessary for the next ride.
The boat is sold with one battery that has a capacity of 4-5 hours of running time. Additional batteries and a fast-charging system are available for an additional cost (see "What can I customize?" for more information).
How does the tub water stay clean?
Our patent-pending internal filtration system heats and cleans water as it circulates in the tub while the boat is dockside. Spacruzzi uses an all-natural cleaning process (no chemicals). The Spacruzzi process includes using at dockside a chlorinator probe with light salt which creates an electrolysis process that brings the water to the highest level of hygiene compliance. However, it is incumbent upon the owner-operator to ensure that the tub water meets all regulatory standards during operation.
What happens in the event of repair or maintenance?
Spacruzzi has been designed around a compartmentalized layout, giving the owner the ability to easily inspect the components and address any situation that may occur.
All Spacruzzi components are designed to be removed and replaced for minimal downtime in the event of repair or replacement.
If there is the need for repair, there is a a full digital manual on how to troubleshoot and address any issues. If a replacement part is needed, next-day air service is available.
Spacruzzi offers a one-year manufacturer's warranty on the hull materials and workmanship. The various internal systems' manufacturers also offer one-year warranties on their products.
